A cornet is a musical instrument very similar to a trumpet.  So, why they call this body type a cornet rather than a trumpet is a mystery to me.  But the association with a horn is understandable when you understand this body shape. Starting at the bottom with slim legs, thighs and hips this figure type then flares out with shoulders that are broader than the hips.  It’s a very athletic build.

This figure type has traditionally has small breasts, however more and more, women with this type of figure are also augmenting their breasts.

For this figure type, any style bra will work well, but a balconette or a bra with wide-set straps looks especially fabulous on this type. That’s because the broad shoulders can sustain wider set straps without them falling off the shoulders. There is thus more upper chest showing and less bra coverage.

The bottom is where some oomph is needed to create a more balanced proportion.  Those rumba panties with ruffled lace are great looking on this body type as well as the latest new and fun lingerie skirts.  Both add some proportion on the bottom in a very fun and sexy way. Other options are boyshorts with fabulous lace trimmings.

Adding some weight and shape on the bottom of the cornet body shape helps balance out the hips with the shoulders.  It also frames the area in the middle so that you have a slender looking waist.
